these numbers baffle my brain, but i like it.
D. S. Littleton  - Intriguing... |2009-02-25 06:27:45
Gotta say, I didn't quite get it upfront... but the more I looked into it, the
more sense it made; very timely comment on the world, indeed...

Great work,
guys!
Helen Ferry  - It's really good! |2009-02-26 00:25:28
I like the interactivity of the piece and the opportunity viewers have to create
their own random artwork I like art that's has an element of chance in the
making - but this takes it one step further and engages the audience in this as
well. It's literally letting the audience create their own version...the math
behind all this is mind boggling but you don't even have to understand this to
enjoy and get the message..

spam is a good play on net data so the images
themselves are great as well...and the digital originals idea is good too...

I'll have to spend a bit more time reading all the info on the site...

I love it when someone shows how common sense and simplicity can become
revolutionary! Nice work Colin, my old friend.
Max Goonan  - LOVE it |2009-03-10 08:29:57
Took me a while to first get it - then I just loved it!!
It really intrigues
me... and I got to thinking that just as I do not understand the math of spam,
so too - do I not fully understand the power of imagination.
This has given me
a jolt.. Thanks...
Andrew Gancewicz  - Good idea |2009-03-10 21:58:38
The concept is very interesting, but I think your explanation could be more
precise,ie there are an infinite number of copies but there will only ever be
the one original, and the collectable is the original, thats where the value
is.This is the element to be focused upon so that people understand what is the
concept, and this element needs the explanation....or am I being too picky.
Lee Lucas  - Wow |2009-03-10 21:59:17
Wow...

Very interesting indeed.

Look forward to seeing its evolution
Nix  - Hmmm |2009-03-12 00:42:21
Interesting concept. I don't agree that every time you refresh it's a
"whole new artwork", because the variations are fairly minor in terms of
the viewer's experience. Even though, technically, different viewers are seeing
different things, in most cases their subjective experience of the artwork will
be much the same. Contrast this to a really intricate painting where,
objectively, different viewers see the same thing, but subjectively pick up on
different elements and have a different experience.

This is one of those
pieces where the power lies in the concept behind it, rather than the artwork
per se. And it is a powerful concept which I think it could be the platform for
a truly fascinating style of digital art. I can't wait to see where you go with
this.
